Upcoming Schedule

We're leaving Denver today for flight to Panama City, where we'll kick around for a few days before transiting (by land!) to the Atlantic side of the canal to meet up with Quester and the rest of the Oyster fleet.

Our schedule has us at Megan and Jeremy's (and Will's) place in Denver this weekend, then flying to Panama City on Monday.  PC is at the Pacific, or south-east end of the Canal.  We're to be met at the airport by a driver who will take us to our VRBO apartment in the center of the city.  We spend Tue. and Wed. exploring, then move to Colon at the north-west end of the Canal - only about 50 miles.  We'll join Quester at the Shelter Bay Marina on the west side of the city and Canal.

On Feb. 15 there is a tour of an old fort, a skippers' orientation and a "dressy
pirates party" which should be very fun.  We'll next post from somewhere in
Panama!!

By the way, a previous link I gave for the Oyster World Rally has a way to link to the Yellowbrick Fleet Tracker.  I realize now that this utility is free on a PC but if you're on an i-device you have to pay a few bucks to follow the fleet - sorry!

Go to: http://www.oystermarine.com/worldrally, go to Yellowbrick and
select World Rally / Teams / Quester to center in on our boat.  Right now, with all
the boats in Shelter Bay you won't be able to make out Quester, but you will when
we begin our Canal transit on the 19th.

[We'd love to hear from you!  Please leave us comments and we'll reply when we get a chance!  Thanks --S and J]
